Nicholas Colyvas, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) is Director of the UCSF Meniscus Preservation Center. He specializes in arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, sports medicine, and the care of athletes of all ages.
Nirav Pandya, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who specializes in pediatric sports medicine and trauma. He cares for young athletes using a variety of surgical and minimally invasive techniques in clinic and hospital settings. He has a particular interest in arthroscopic treatment for cartilage and ligament injuries of the ankle, knee, elbow and shoulder.
C. Bejamin Ma, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) is the chief of the UCSF Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service. His special interests include sports medicine, arthroscopic shoulder surgery to repair rotator cuff tears and ligament instability, shoulder replacement, knee ligament reconstruction, meniscus and cartilage injury.
Drew Lansdown, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) specializes in sports medicine and surgery of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. Dr. Lansdown treats a wide-range of conditions, including knee ligament injuries, meniscal injuries, cartilage injuries, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, and throwing-related injuries to the shoulder and elbow.
Elly La Roque, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) specializes in arthroscopy, rehabilitation of the knee and shoulder, and women’s sports injuries in all age groups and all levels – from recreational to elite athletes.
Brian Feeley, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) specializes in athletic injuries of the shoulder and knee and the use of minimally invasive/arthroscopic procedures to treat these problems. In the shoulder, he treats rotator cuff tears/impingement, shoulder instability and labral tears, clavicle fractures, shoulder arthritis and shoulder replacement with reverse shoulder arthroplasty. In the knee, he treats ACL and other ligament injuries, meniscus tears, cartilage injuries, and early arthritis.
Stephanie Wong, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) is an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in sports medicine and hip arthroscopy. She specializes in the arthroscopic treatment of hip, shoulder, and knee injuries. Her clinical expertise includes hip labral tears, FAI (femoroacetabular impingement), and gluteal tendon tears, and hamstring injuries. In the knee and shoulder, she treats a variety of conditions including ACL injuries, meniscus tears, knee cartilage issues, shoulder instability, and rotator cuff tears. Her goals are to help her patients return to the lifestyle and activities they enjoy.
Alan Zhang, MD (Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery) is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and minimally-invasive arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. In the hip, he frequently treats labral tears, FAI (femoroacetabular impingement), gluteus tears and various athletic injuries. He is a specialist in advanced hip arthroscopy for labral repair and reconstruction as well as hip preservation. In the knee, he specializes in ACL tears, meniscus tears and cartilage injuries- regularly performing ACL reconstruction and meniscus repairs. In the shoulder, he treats rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocation/instability and biceps tears.
